What goes in a briefing. A briefing only earns a place for three kinds of thing: what changed since you last looked, what is coming up soon, and what is waiting specifically on you rather than every unread message. Each surfaced item carries the plain reason it is there, so the briefing is a claim you can check rather than one you have to take on faith. On the Flow and Horizon plans, Drift assembles this in the background so it is ready before you ask. It is a read of your day, not an action on it — a briefing can mention a thread without having replied to it, and sending anything still stops on the same confirmation card as anywhere else.
"What has changed since yesterday?" — Drift returns the same digest a scheduled briefing would send — what changed, what’s next, what’s waiting on you. On Flow and Horizon, the same briefing also runs proactively in the background.
